Senior Director Clinical Operations

We are working with an innovative biopharmaceutical company whose focus is to identify and develop high-potential drugs for patients who are unresponsive to other existing medications or treatment-resistant.

Their approach is to leverage their biopharmaceutical industry expertise to further expand the product opportunities and their portfolio.

They specialize in neurology and their main goal is to be at the forefront of prolific scientific research and development with multiple programs in clinical and pre-clinical development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages the relationship with CROs and other service providers


• Responsible for the development of the patient enrollment strategy including country and site selection plan


• Oversees vendor site monitoring and monitors performance including, monitoring plan creation, oversight of activities at the study level


• Involvement in the planning and execution of clinical trials across multiple programs


• Serves as the primary operational management contact, globally


• Directs, manages and mentors an assigned team of Clinical Operations staff

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in a scientific or medical discipline


• At least five (5) years of clinical research experience with neurology experience preferred however not a must.


• Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of key regulatory authorities, ICH Guidelines, and GCPs governing the conduct of routine clinical trials


• In-depth experience within clinical research with specialist experience in leadership and senior management across a portfolio of work


• Must be able to fluently speak, read, write and understand English


• Very strong verbal, written and presentation skills
